This position is ideally suited to a technically strong individual who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role while driving workshop productivity, service excellence, quality control, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day workshop operations across the Geely and MG service departments.
• Lead, mentor and develop technicians and workshop staff.
• Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency and labour sales performance.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with workshop planning, job allocation and workflow management.
• Support the Service Manager in achieving departmental targets and OEM requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.
• Identify training needs and support the ongoing development of technical staff.
• Build strong relationships with customers, internal departments and OEM representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Technician (Red Seal qualification advantageous).
• Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman, Senior Technician, Team Leader or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostic and repair processes.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Computer literacy and experience with dealer management systems will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
